Our business has developed a good reputation for quality work and taking care of our clients. We consistently see above 40% of our revenue come from repeat and referral customers. We have reinforced that with consistent marketing strategies to give our location one of the top market share percentages in the DreamMaker network. It has been a consistently profitable business averaging net profits of 11.6% over the last 10 years after profit sharing with our employees. We have built a good team who take ownership and has allowed us as owners to be away from the business for almost 40 days this year, excluding holidays. Our work week is typically 45-50hrs so our involvement in the day to day operations is quite manageable compared to many small business owners. This has been a business that has provided us and our family with a quality of life and work balance as well as allowed us to achieve the financial goals that we desired. Being part of a franchise system like DreamMaker has been a valuable partnership in our business journey. The corporate staff and other franchisees have been wonderful to work with and be challenged by as we grew our location. They are a very willing and gracious group of people to partner with.

Two areas that we see as potential growth for this business would be to develop a monthly subscription service that would offer our past customers an annual service to inspect trouble spots in their kitchen and/or bath. We have heard feedback from past clients that this would be a valued service and would allow us to generate added repeat business. We see this as being a natural progression from our existing warranty services that we provide our clients. Another would be to expand into the Bloomington/Normal market 60 miles north of Springfield. In many ways that market is like the Springfield market but from our research we feel that it is underserved by a full-service kitchen and bath remodeling company.
